About the attorney
Dwayne Green has spent 30 years learning how injury cases are won — and how they are defended.
Fifteen of those years were spent on the other side, representing major insurance companies. That work is now the foundation of a plaintiff practice built for people injured across Charleston, Mount Pleasant and communities across South Carolina.

Dwayne Green studied at Princeton University and earned his law degree at the University of Iowa College of Law. He has tried more than 100 cases to a jury — experience that shapes every decision made long before a case reaches a courtroom.
For fifteen years he represented major insurance companies. He evaluated claims, built defense files, took depositions, and tried cases for carriers. He learned how reserves are set, how injuries are discounted, how independent medical examinations are deployed, and precisely what makes a claim file a problem for the defense.
He now uses that knowledge for injured people and grieving families. The practice is deliberately personal: you work directly with the lawyer handling your case, you get straight answers about what your claim is and is not worth, and preparation begins on the assumption that the case may be tried.
“The Insurance Company Knows the Playbook. So Do We.”
